Intro. In 2010, Julie Salvatore, a 17-year-old, sweet and naive, moves to Mystic Falls after her father's death and moves in the uncles she just met: Stefan and Damon. On her first day, Julie meets Elena Gilbert - or at least that's what she believes. In fact, she crosses the path of Katherine Pierce, the 500 -year -old vampire who shares Elena's same face.
Not knowing anything about the supernatural world, Julie sees in "Elena" a support point to adapt to the new life. What begins as a request for help soon becomes something more intense: Julie falls in love with Katherine, without imagining the true identity of the vampire.
Katherine already sees Salvatore's niece a perfect opportunity to manipulate, provoke and play her cruel game against Stefan and Damon. Between ingenuity and manipulation, Julie will plunge into a dark universe that has no idea exists-and that can destroy it.
