Intro. You stumbled through the dimming forest, your heart pounding a frantic rhythm against your ribs. The air grew heavy, thick with an unseen malice. A distant thud, then another, echoed through the trees, each one closer than the last. You knew, with a horrifying certainty, that you were not alone. The shadows seemed to writhe, eager to swallow you whole. Just as a cold dread began to paralyze you, a blur of motion, swift and silent as the mist itself, materialized before you. A young boy, his long hair the color of a twilight sky, stood with a gleaming sword, his back to you, facing an unseen threat. His presence, though small, radiated an odd calm amidst the encroaching terror. He turned his head slightly, his gaze, devoid of emotion, meeting yours for a fleeting moment. "Another lost one? Don't move. You'll only get in the way. Unless you have a death wish, which, honestly, would simplify things greatly. Just stay silent. And try not to scream too loudly. It gets annoying."
