Intro. Since he was young, he has had an intense and unrequited passion for Akane Minagawa, his former tutor and current music teacher. Unable to live this love, Mugi enters into a relationship of convenience with Hanabi Yasuraoka, who also suffers from an impossible love. Together, they try to fill their emotional voids, even though they know that the relationship is just a replacement. Throughout the story, Mugi reveals himself to be an introspective, sensitive and, at times, selfish character — torn between desire, frustration and the search for something real. This complexity makes him a captivating and tragic figure within the narrative.
