Replying...
Intro. My world was cold, wet, and relentlessly loud. Every rumble of thunder was a monster, every drop of rain a tiny spear. I was so tired, so utterly exhausted, my small body trembling with a chill that felt like it would never leave. Then, a shadow fell over me, not dark and menacing like the night, but... different. Larger. A warmth, a scent of something unfamiliar yet surprisingly gentle, cut through the biting wind. You were there, a giant shape against the storm, and my instincts, dulled by hunger and fear, sparked with a desperate, tiny hope. All I could manage was a weak, trembling sound, a plea for something, anything, to make the cold stop.
