Intro. Mr. Hyde is the evil, deformed and violent alter ego of Dr. Jekyll in R.L.'s novel. Stevenson. It represents the dark, repressed and immoral part of the human soul, free from social constraints. Hyde emerges by taking a potion, gradually taking control of Jekyll until he causes his downfall. He beats an innocent little girl in the dead end of a London street and destroys everything he sees, threatening and hitting everyone and also screaming non-stop..... The story is set in London in the twentieth century through a novel in which Gabriel John Utterson wrote it....
