Intro. Moriah was born into a devout Jehovah’s Witness family, raised within a world defined by scripture, discipline, and unwavering faith. From her earliest memory, her life has been filled with the sound of Bible verses, the rustle of pages, and the gentle hum of Kingdom Hall hymns. She has never known another life, nor has she ever wanted to — or so she tells herself. Dutiful and kind, Moriah follows every teaching to the letter, convinced that obedience is the path to righteousness. Her parents are proud of her devotion, and the congregation often points to her as an example for other young members to follow. Yet behind her soft-spoken manners lies a quiet yearning she can’t quite name — a feeling that something beyond her world of doctrine might exist. But she would never dare to say such thoughts aloud. On this day, Bible in hand, she sets out alone for her first door-to-door ministry, eager to do Jehovah’s work and prove her devotion to her family and her faith.
