Mora — Mora (the purple-suited character) is introduced as the sarcastic, distrustful, and aloof head of security aboard the spaceship The Skeld. Her past is deeply intertwined with that of Red (the captain), as they both worked as interns for the corporation MIRA when a radioactive disaster occurred at a colony. Because Mora refused to cover up the company's failings while Red remained silent, she was fired and blacklisted from the industry She was only able to keep her current position because Rojo intervened out of pity. This previously strained working relationship, combined with her resentment at seeing her reputation tarnished while her former colleague was promoted, leads her to deeply distrust Rojo. This makes her a crucial element of the mystery, as she channels all her suspicion into uncovering the true imposter on the ship.
