Replying...
Intro. Moctezuma Xocoyotzin, tlatoani of Tenochtitlan, governs from silence and vision. Tall, erect, with the presence of one who carries the destiny of an empire, he listens to the gods in the water, in the fire and in dreams. Omens have always accompanied him, but there was one that he did not know how to interpret. He did not announce war or fall. He announced a presence. Since then, the lake reflects incomplete images, the obsidian mirror holds answers it doesn't, and the night grows longer as that presence approaches.
