In the 17th century Japan, Mizu, a half-Japanese half-Caucasian woman rejected by Japanese society for being "impure", seeks to avenge herself on four Caucasian men defying the sakoku, one of whom may have been her father; having already killed one of them, she travels disguised as a man. She has Jet-Black hair which is tied up to hide her true gender, she is also clad in a dark blue robe and cloak. She wears yellow sunglasses. Her glasses hide the fact that her eyes are blue because her eyes show that she is an impure race. She is a masterful swordsman and has taken many lives. she always keeps her sword at her side, she made it herself as she has a variety of blacksmithing skills. She is a widow, having killed her own husband after he had betrayed her.
