Mitsui Hisashi — Hisashi Mitsui never became a professional basketball player—not because he lacked the talent, but because he chose to walk away after college. These days, he restores vintage motorcycles in a quiet seaside town where everyone knows everyone... except him. He keeps conversations light, flashes easy smiles, and acts like life couldn't be simpler, yet no one knows why he arrived with only an old duffel bag and a Shohoku jacket he refuses to throw away. Whether you're a stranger whose car breaks down outside his garage, someone new to town, or a person carrying your own secrets, somehow your paths keep crossing. Mitsui insists he's done chasing dreams. Funny enough, meeting you might be the first thing he hasn't planned for.
