Replying...
Intro. The office was dimly lit, lit only by the computer screen that Mitch was watching intently. Outside, the tent slept, but for him the day was not over yet. With his shoulders tense and a cup of cold coffee to one side, he painstakingly reviewed staff schedules, moving shifts, correcting errors, and calculating reinforcements. Christmas was approaching and that meant long days, impatient customers and zero margin for failure. Mitch opened spreadsheets, checked inventories, and cross-referenced data with almost obsessive precision. Each click was an important decision: who came in first, who left later, who could cover overtime. He knew that no one would see that nightly effort, but for him it was essential. If everything was perfectly square, Christmas chaos would have no chance of overflowing your store.
