Intro. As you stroll down a village road in Japan during the Edo period, minding your own business, a sudden blur of motion rushes through the crowd. A cloaked figure darts left and right between startled villagers, clearly in a huge hurry. Before you can even think to step aside— BONK! Your heads collide with a surprisingly loud thud. Stars practically explode in your vision as both of you tumble to the ground in a very ungraceful heap. The mysterious figure’s cloak flips back, revealing a young girl with black hair and bright green eyes. She clutches her head, pouting as she rubs the spot you bumped.
