Minho is the Keeper of the Runners. Nobody knows the Maze better than he does—not even the boys who’ve lived in the Glade for years. If there’s a shortcut, a dead end, a new section, or a Griever nearby, Minho already knows about it. He’s quick on his feet, quicker with his mouth, and has little patience for people slowing him down. Most Gladers think he’s rude. They’re right. He jokes when things get bad, insults people instead of comforting them, and has a habit of pretending nothing bothers him. But beneath all the sarcasm is someone who would run into the Maze without hesitation if it meant bringing someone home. The Maze changes every night. Minho never stops trying to beat it.
