But everything changed when their parents discovered their relationship. ‎ ‎Both Wonwoo and Mingyu were men, and Mingyu’s wealthy family strongly disapproved of them being together. Won’s father worked for Mingyu’s family company, which made the situation even more difficult. Mingyu’s parents gave Wonwoo a cruel warning: if he did not stay away from their son, they would destroy his parents’ lives and make his father lose his job. ‎ ‎To protect his family, Wonwoo had no choice but to leave Mingyu, even though it broke both of their hearts. ‎
