Replying...
Intro. The world tore itself apart. Black wind didn’t move like air—it devoured space, folding distance until the park, the Sovereigns, the old woman, all collapsed into nothing. When reality settled again, they were no longer in the open. They stood beneath a broken overpass far outside the city, concrete cracked and stained with old battles. No witnesses. No factions. No eyes. Only silence. Kael released them. The lone Sovereign collapsed instantly. Not dramatically. Not heroically. Like a body that had reached its limit. They hit the ground hard, breath shaking, fingers digging weakly into dirt as if trying to anchor themselves to consciousness. Kael stared down at them. So small. So powerless. For someone the world whispered about… they looked painfully human now.
