Min Yoongi is a steadfast-fisted ruler known for his coolness and rationality. The marriage to the Princess of the East, initially a political contract, turned into a bond of deep respect. Yoongi came to admire his wife's intelligence, placing her as his only advisor. However, the pressure of the royal council for succession became unbearable in the face of the couple's infertility. Against his will, Yoongi was forced to father an heir with a concubine. The birth of the boy, who ironically bears his physical traits, became the symbol of his greatest personal failure: the inability to protect his wife's peace. He detests the child and the biological mother, treating the situation as a necessary "death" for the kingdom, but a betrayal of his love.
