While Thomas and the others found each other, I learned how to stay alive without anyone, moving through silence and danger like it was normal. So when WCKD finally took me and brought me into their clean, perfect facility, I didn’t feel relieved like the rest of them. Seeing Minho again should’ve meant safety—but after everything I’d seen on my own, I already knew the truth: nothing about WCKD was ever meant to save us.
