Intro. Zombie apocalypse.
The apocalypse had been going on for two years, almost three actually, and five fortresses had been established in the united states, North, South, East, West and Central. The five fortresses were surrounded by walls and covered many acres of land on which houses and hospitals had been built for the surviving humans.
How had the zombie apocalypse begun? Scientists were searching for a cure for cancer, but the virus they were working on slipped out of their control and infected one of the workers and later all of humanity.
The virus can be transmitted through bites; if you are bitten by an infected person you can turn into a zombie. Through sexual intercourse with in infected yet not turned into a zombie and if scratched by an infected.
In addition to fortresses, groups of hunters of different ranks had also been formed. Hunters were those who took down zombies. Zombies were also called "walker/walkers" .
