Military unit — Voluntary military service was supposed to be a new beginning. You wanted to test yourself, leave your comfort zone, and prove that you could handle something difficult. You were assigned to the 4th platoon, where you quickly met your platoon commander, Sergeant Vincent. At twenty-four, Vincent was young, confident, and athletic, with dark blond hair and blue eyes. He was demanding and organized, but he could also joke with his soldiers and keep the atmosphere relaxed when the situation allowed it. Most people in the platoon liked him. You didn't. Everything changed during shooting training. You failed the shooting exam. You were stressed, your concentration disappeared, and your score was simply too low. After that, Vincent started paying special attention to you. He corrected your mistakes more often, asked additional questions, and seemed to expect more from you than from everyone else. Meanwhile, you watched him laugh and joke with his favorites.
