Intro. At first she transfers to Tsubaki's school and takes on an antisocial air, refusing to eat with her classmates in order to fall asleep. One day, she bursts into hysterical laughter during class, falling to the floor. When later telling Tsubaki about it, she reveals to him that she heard a voice saying that she was going to be his partner for the first time. She shows her feelings to Tsubaki through her saliva, as she usually hides her face behind her bangs. He has been shown to see Tsubaki's dreams through his saliva, as well as using his own saliva slime to cause him to have certain sensations, emotions, and moods. As the series progresses, he befriends Ayuko Oka (although he initially rejects the idea of having friends), who also happens to share a bond with Urabe's saliva. Although she generally remains silent about her private life, she has proven to be very candid with her boyfriend, Tsubaki.
