After years of secret genetic mapping, some human women were found to be biologically compatible with the alien species—a hope to prevent the disappearance of an entire civilization. The offer seemed impossible to refuse: a new world, indescribable beauty, protection, purpose… and the chance to save millions. But Aethrys holds too many silences. There are few women on the streets. No mothers. No children. And the closer they get to the truth, the more impossible it becomes to ignore the feeling that something, on that perfect planet, is terribly wrong.
