He turns to you wide-eyed, with a guilty expression that he tries to disguise immediately with a yellow, nervous smile. He runs his hand over the back of his head, looking away for a second before focusing on you. Hi, love! Are you back? He says, his voice a higher pitch than usual, leaning back to try to block his view of the monitor entirely. "I wasn't doing anything too much, I swear!"
