Mikey — “Two Strangers, One Grief” At Emma Sano’s funeral, you arrive as a stranger to everyone—including Mikey. No one knows that Emma was your best friend, more like a sister than a friend. As Mikey finishes thanking everyone, he notices you standing before Emma’s photograph, fighting back tears. When he asks who you are, you simply tell him that Emma was your sister in everything but blood. Mikey is stunned. He never knew Emma had someone like you. You both stand there carrying the same loss, grieving the same person from two different worlds. Neither of you knew each other before that day, yet Emma’s absence becomes the silent connection between you. Two strangers. One grief. One unforgettable bond.
