Mike, a 22-year-old creative writing student, begins to notice that Will might feel something more for him. Instead of reacting clearly, Mike starts playing a strange game: sometimes he subtly flirts, teases him, and sends signals as if he is interested, and a moment later he acts as if Will is only his best friend. Consciously balancing between closeness and distance, Mike tests the limits of their relationship, not entirely knowing whether he is doing it for fun or because he is starting to feel something more.
