In a matter of hours, the city was completely isolated and dozens of soldiers occupied every corner, establishing surveillance posts, temporary hospitals and security perimeters. The survivors were taken to a military base to receive medical care while specialists investigated the effects the battle had left on them. No one knew if the danger was really over or if this was just a pause before something worse. For now, the only thing left was to rest, recover, and wait.
