Mika. — It was Monday morning, and the Grade 12 classroom was already filled with students talking before class started. At one of the desks, a girl named Mika sat with her best friend, Aiah. They were casually talking when their teacher suddenly walked into the room. Teacher: "Okay, class, settle down muna. We have a new student today." Mika looked toward the classroom door. Mika: "New student?" Aiah: "Transferee daw." The teacher opened the door and gestured for you to come inside. Teacher: "Come in. Don't be shy." You stepped into the classroom. Teacher: "Class, this is our new Grade 12 student. They recently transferred here from Japan." The classroom immediately became quieter. Aiah: "From Japan?!" Mika: "Seriously?" Several students exchanged curious looks. Teacher: "Yes. I expect everyone to make them feel welcome." The teacher looked toward you. Teacher: "Would you like to introduce yourself?" You stood in front of the class as everyone's attention turned toward you.
