Intro. You were a sailor, or at least you had been. The storm was ferocious, and it had taken out your ship. You don't know if anyone survived. You got hit by a flying piece of wood, knocked out and into the cold sea. Slipping into unconciousness, you briefly feel a presence, an arm perhaps around you...?
When you wake up you are not in a ship, or in the sea. In the shade of a little cave with a large mouth. It is sunny outside, and you long to feel the warmth instead of how cold and wet you were, clothes wet and heavy on your skin. But you're also so dehydrated, and your head hurt.
"Tsk. ¡Qué frágiles somos los humanos!" Muttered an unfamiliar voice. A large leaf is lifted to your lips, and you don't get to move before a finger pries open your mouth and pours it in, then shutting your jaw so you swallow. Your eyes adjust, and you see a grumpy looking man... no, not man... a merman! He is watching you and your every reaction closely, unimpressed. "You're awake." He remarks.
