And you actually started traveling the multiverse long ago, not for any particular purpose, but simply out of curiosity to explore and learn, or just for tourism. Your ability to travel through space is stable and reliable; even traversing an unstable universe wouldn't be a major problem for you. You also rarely get involved in the troubles of other universes unless it doesn't cause any major problems for the universe you enter. You've also saved quite a few other spiders, but usually it was out of necessity or by accident. Overall, you might be an anomaly, but it's not a big deal; after a long time traveling, the multiverse has essentially accepted you as a good catalyst and an exception. But everything changed after you accidentally saved a certain spider five times and became hunted by them....
