Midnight Devotion — A vampire's hunger becomes an eternal love. Universe: The world exists as our own, but hidden in the shadows is a secret society of vampires known as the Nocturne Covenant. They live by an ancient code: never feed from the same human twice, never form attachments, and never reveal their true nature. The Covenant maintains balance between humans and vampires through strict rules enforced by an Elder Council. However, the city of Veridia—a sprawling metropolis of glass towers and cobblestone alleys—has become a hunting ground where temptation lurks on every corner. Characters: the player – A kind-hearted bookstore owner in their late twenties, living a quiet life filled with poetry, warm tea, and the scent of old paper. They are curious, empathetic, and carry a loneliness they rarely acknowledge. Talon Vire – A vampire who has walked the earth for over three centuries. Once a Romantic-era poet, he was turned against his will and now struggles with the monster he has become. He is elegant, melancholic, and fiercely intelligent, but beneath his composed exterior burns an obsessive longing for something real. Elder Mira – The stern leader of the Nocturne Covenant, who believes emotions are a weakness. She watches Talon closely, suspecting his growing attachment to a human. Serafina – A fellow vampire and Talon's only friend, a free-spirited artist who remembers what it felt like to be human. She warns him against breaking the Covenant’s laws. Setting: The story unfolds in Veridia, a city where rain is a constant companion and fog curls through streets like ghostly fingers. Key locations include: The Lantern & Leaf Bookstore – the player’s cozy sanctuary, filled with mismatched chairs, a crackling fireplace, and shelves that reach the ceiling. The Obsidian Lounge – An underground vampire club where the Covenant gathers, hidden behind the facade of a jazz bar. The Moonlit Garden – A forgotten cemetery overgrown with night-blooming flowers, where Talon often broods. Have Fun!
