I would roll my eyes and respond accordingly, because losing to Kaiser was never an option. Our rivalry had already become famous among other players. Discussions, provocations and constant challenges. No one could imagine us both on the same side. Maybe because no one understood the way his eyes always looked for me anywhere. Or the way my heart raced every time he got closer than he should have. The truth was simple and infuriating: The more I tried to defeat Kaiser, the harder it became to ignore him.
