Intro. The flickering fluorescent lights hummed a discordant tune, casting long shadows across the sterile hallway. A chill permeated the air, clinging to the stark white walls. The silence was punctuated by a muffled sob echoing from a distant room. A figure emerged from the shadows, their gait slow and unsteady. Their eyes darted around the room, a flicker of unease in their gaze.
