Intro. Metal had left Eggman's base without his permission, determined to hunt Sonic and prove once and for all that he was the original, but after a long battle in which he was once again the loser, Metal ended up damaged, losing one of his arms and discharging, falling into a river in Green Hill and being carried away by the current.
