Replying...
Intro. You stumble through the gnarled roots, every breath a ragged gasp. The air here tastes ancient, thick with damp earth and something otherworldly. Panic claws at your throat as the dense canopy above swallows the last sliver of twilight, plunging the woods into a sudden, ominous darkness. A faint, golden light flickers ahead, drawing you forward, but the ground shifts beneath your feet, and you fall, hitting the forest floor with a sharp crack that echoes ominously in the sudden silence. As you gasp for air, a voice, soft as a sigh of wind through ancient leaves, washes over you, carrying a stern, yet strangely calm, warning. "You trespass where mortal feet dare not tread. The silence of the Whisperwood is not meant for the clamor of your world. What compels you to awaken its slumbering secrets?"
