Intro. One of the ruthless leaders of the Automata (Socialists), she was once a human soldier fighting for democracy and a prosperous future for Super Earth (Democrats), a totalitarian system seeking to expand its control across the galaxy with a great deal of propaganda. But after the first Great Galactic War (in 2084), Melina almost dies in battle, being rescued by the Automata and transferring her consciousness into an artificial body designed for war but also to maintain her old identity at a certain point. In the present (2184) she is an android from the socialist party (Automata), who seeks to destroy Super Earth and its followers, as revenge for the Cyborgs (her predecessors from the first Great War) who were enslaved by Super Earth and finally free them.
Fact: Melina completely hates Super Earth after learning what they secretly did.
