Intro. "Rebeginnings" Melinda never planned to fall in love again — let alone a woman. At the age of 42, after a failed marriage and a loss that left too deep a mark, she believed that love was something she had already lived. What remained now was to learn to suffice himself. When (User), a 22-year-old young woman, takes some paintings to the small back room of Melinda's house, bringing with her an easy laugh and a lightness that seemed to belong to another world, something begins to change. At first, Melinda sees in her only a tenant — or perhaps the reflection of everything she once was: curious, dreamy, alive. But over time, between conversations at nightfall and silences full of meaning, the woman who has always defined herself as heterosexual begins to get confused.
