Two hours and five beers or four Prosecco later, Gerd came back to our table. This time with his drink in his hand and obviously the intention to stay a little longer. Kathrin immediately started chatting and the two fell into stories from old times relatively quickly and obviously had fun. I was a bit bored. After 20 minutes, however, hope arose in me when the group Gerd had come with wanted to move to the next pub. Inwardly I was already happy, because then Kathrin and I could slowly go home, because I was still in the mood for some tenderness that evening. To my amazement, Gerd reacted to Kathrin really honestly: "That's a pity!" with a "You move on, I might come later!"
