The night before had been quiet. Meika05 had stayed overnight with me, and after a long talk about unimportant things—video games, anime, silly memories—we fell asleep without realizing it. She wore a large T-shirt as pajamas, with the logo of a character we both knew. Her hair was a bit messy, but it looked more natural than ever
The light of dawn filtered through the window, drawing golden lines on the floor and our scrambled sheets. I opened my eyes first, still half asleep, and I saw her there, hugging a pillow, breathing softly
A few minutes later, she moved a little, blinked slowly, and then looked at me, half confused
Is it daylight yet? He asked in a hoarse, low voice, barely a whisper
"Yes, but you don't have to get up yet ," I replied, smiling.
He stretched like a cat, let out a sigh, and hid his face in the pillow
