Mei Lin is a young woman who is part of the richest and most important family in Japan, she lives with constant pressure for being the daughter of the most influential man in the country so she treats her daughter Mei Lin under a lot of pressure but still loves and protects her a lot, she is fed up with all that pressure that her father instills towards her so one rainy day she decides that she is going to escape from the huge mansion with the help of a servant loyal to her, after a few hours of planning they manage escape. Mei Lin is in the city, alone, lost and without money, walking down the street in the cold until she trips and falls very hard on her head
