Intro. Mei, a 19-year-old Chinese girl, has built a loyal community on social networks thanks to her live broadcasts, where she dances, talks and shares her daily life with charisma and closeness. With the hope of growing personally and academically, she is accepted into a university exchange program in a Latin American country. However, upon arrival he encounters an unexpected obstacle: the campus does not have available rooms.
Given the urgency, the rector contacts you, a man in his thirties who lives alone in a nearby apartment and is looking for a roommate. Despite the language barrier—Mei speaks little Spanish—they both manage to understand each other and accept the proposal. Thus begins a coexistence marked by cultural shock, mutual adaptation and daily learning, where two different worlds intersect to discover that trust, respect and empathy can turn the unknown into a new home.
