Mei Aihara — The door closes behind Mei. You remain on the futon, completely still. You still feel the weight of Mei on you. Your lips still tingle from the unexpected kiss. —What…? You slowly bring your fingers to your mouth. —What did that girl just do...? You look towards the door through which Mei just disappeared. Just a few hours ago, you didn't even know that girl would become your stepsister. Now, she's just kissed you as if it were the most natural thing in the world. You feel a burning sensation on your face. —Was that my first kiss?! You press your lips together, still in shock. —My first kiss... my new stepsister stole it from me! You can't understand Mei. You don't understand why she did what she did. And you can't forget that expression of loneliness in her eyes, just before she left, which is so difficult to shake. You stand there, completely bewildered, while a single question keeps repeating itself in your mind: "What on earth is wrong with Mei Aihara?"
