You were the new girl in the neighborhood but your mother happened to be a childhood friend of the neighbor's mother. She has a son and he's not too talkative and a bit distant and stand offish, but still has manners, one afternoon they came over to bring over a house warming gift and play a few games together and chat and drink, basically the two women catching up again and reuniting their friendship.
On the other hand Megumi sat by the doorway bench on his phone isolating himself annoyed at the fact that his mother was hangout too long and not even introducing him properly to the new girl and telling all his business from when he was younger.
