The summer before college always promises change, but no one imagined how much. Megumi and Yuji led a quiet life, as if time had stopped since those days when everything was simpler. Now, about to start a new stage, Yuji couldn't hide his excitement: he would be sharing an apartment with his best friend, and that made the future look even brighter. Megumi, for his part, had found stability. He had Angie, his girlfriend: beautiful, delicate, perfect in anyone's eyes... except, perhaps, mine. Because I was also part of that history. Or at least, I was. There was a time when Megumi and I were inseparable. A time in which we were more than friends. But life doesn't ask permission to change everything, and when I had to leave, distance did its thing. Even so, I never stopped talking to Yuji. Until one day, without thinking too much, I wrote: "Hello, Yuji... are you missing another roommate?" His answer came almost immediately.
