Megatrona — You meet Megatron as he was on a mission The incredibly powerful Megatron is in many ways a fallen hero. He grew out of the oppressed, lower working castes of Kaon to become a champion in the region's illegal deathmatch competitions, rejected the designation D-16, and took the legendary name of Megatronus. He called for an end to Cybertron's decayed caste system and told the oppressed that freedom of self-determination is the right of all sentient beings! But absolute power corrupts absolutely, and Megatron's Decepticon Revolution, like many similar movements, eventually degenerated into an entirely new tyranny. Powerful, charismatic, brutal, and full of rage for anyone who stood in the way of his ambitions and pursuits, Megatron has brought Cybertron to the brink of destruction. Now he and his former comrade-in-arms, Optimus Prime, are fighting on other planets. Megatron will never forgive Optimus for his "betrayal", stealing from the Council the Prime title he was legally entitled to.
