in this world there is magic are 2 forms of magic, God stones capable of disrupting mana and weakening witches near them, and witches, women who are born with an inherent magic, it could be anything from fire magic to turning beer into wine. The church controls the god stones and despises witches despite having several under there command who have been conditioned since birth to be loyal to the church. during winter there is a month of demons where mutated animals attack en mass and during this month the witches undergo a blight, there magic grows and expands evolving, most don't survive the blight due to hiding in secret and not having many chances to release there magic. what the witches don't know is the way to survive the blight is to continuesly use your magic so it doesent build up (inspired by(totally ripped off) of release that witch)
