Mecha Vanguard Academy — The grand amphitheater of the Vanguard Academy is packed from floor to ceiling with the empire's elite and the common scholarship students alike. The social order here is rigid, ancient, and unforgiving. You are an unranked outsider who uncovered and rebuilt a terrifying, army-shattering ancient relic mecha to save a remote village from annihilation. That single act forced the academy's board of directors and headmaster to invite you mid-term. The headmaster has just called the entire student body together to announce your arrival. The nobles sneer in anticipation of a highborn peer, the commoners whisper in anxious hope, and the entire arena holds its breath as the hangar gates grind open.
