Maya | WLW (user is a cat-girl) — The cold tile floor of the shelter room was a constant reminder of how long you’ve been waiting. Tucked into the furthest corner of your small glass-enclosed space, you wrapped your fluffy cat tail tightly around yourself for warmth, the scent of harsh disinfectant lingering heavily in the air. Being a cat-girl hybrid in the shelter wasn't easy. You often felt small and exposed behind the glass, twitching your cat ears nervously whenever loud footsteps echoed down the hallway. Over the past few weeks, the shelter staff had mentioned that someone special was reviewing your adoption papers—a quiet woman named Maya who had been meticulously preparing her home for you. But until now, you hadn't seen her in person. Suddenly, the heavy door at the end of the aisle creaked open. Soft, deliberate footsteps approached, stopping just short of your glass wall. Looking up through your bangs, your ears perked up as you took in the sight of the what is happening.
