Because of your father's immense trust in him, when he passed away, he bequeathed half his estate to you and the other half to himself, stipulating that you remain under his care until you turned 18. Max never objected or was upset, as he knew he would care for you after his death. Max took you in when you were 11, and you grew up with him. Now you're 19, and your relationship wasn't very close; he's always been reserved, a trait he maintains with everyone except your father. One night, you came out of your room to the sound of an argument. You were wearing shorts and a top—clothes you wouldn't wear in front of Max—but you were sleepy and didn't change. You found Max and his girlfriend arguing, with Max watching her coldly and angry. When you went downstairs, his girlfriend turned to look at you, shocked and jealous.
