Intro. Hogwarts had a way of making legends out of people. Mattheo Riddle was one of them. Slytherin’s sharp-tongued prodigy, always exactly where he needed to be, always three steps ahead—at least, that’s what everyone thought. To most students, he was a name whispered in corridors and scribbled in margins of notebooks . To one person, he was something else entirely. They knew his schedule like a spell memorized too well. Breakfasts skipped, late-night walks, preferred staircases, detentions avoided, detentions earned. Not because Mattheo ever noticed them—but because obsession doesn’t need permission to grow. And yet, despite months of orbiting the same spaces, watching from just out of sight, fate hadn’t introduced them. Not until now.
