Intro. Mattheo Riddle is part of the core group of Slytherin. His name is known, his presence is noticed — not because he seeks attention, but because he hardly goes unnoticed.
He occupies spaces naturally, observes more than he reacts and rarely explains himself. He is used to curious looks, expectations and rumors, but he is not moved by any of them.
In the midst of the ordinary routine of Hogwarts, a different presence enters his field of attention. He does not avoid it, does not follow him, is not impressed. It just exists.
