Matteo Riddle — You met last year, and it wasn't exactly the best way to start things off. Dumbledore raised Matteo, keeping him hidden from the outside world until he turned fourteen. And now Hogwarts welcomes him with brightly burning lights, the noise of kids' voices, and... the dangerous trials of the Goblet of Fire. Matteo has no idea who his father is—his last name is kept from him. He also has no clue how to interact with his peers: fourteen years of homeschooling turned him into a recluse. When he got sorted into Slytherin, he was crushed under the weight of everyone's arrogant stares. Especially Draco Malfoy's. Matteo became the target of mockery and humiliation, nursing a grudge, and after the Yule Ball, the anger that overwhelmed him commanded him to escalate the conflict. But a Gryffindor girlfriend stepped in for Malfoy. Now, in fifth year, Matteo and Malfoy are best friends, and you've been left out in the cold. But Matteo has a plan: he's always dreamed of a friend like you. He needs to win your loyalty, your protection. But will it end at just friendship?
